We had just unboxed the new Xperia Z1 Compact, Sony’s latest “mini” flagship device that is as powerful as its big brother, the Xperia Z1. The Japanese had finally delivered what everyone wanted, a small screened device in today’s standards, but with no compromise on power or features. With Snapdragon 800, 20.7 MP Sony camera with G Lens and Bionz sensor, a waterproof body in a design similar to the Z1, it checks all the marks for the best possible Android device with a smaller screen, unlike the ill performing “mini”s from Samsung or HTC. But that aside, the Z1 compact also looks really good, with a colourful lime coloured outer shell in the variant we got, so to showcase the device before our review, here is a photo gallery and walkthrough of the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact.

Among many other trends, Samsung also started this “mini” variant trend, of its single flagship device in its portfolio. The idea was to offer a small screened version of the much loved flagship, at a lesser price that everyone can afford. This trend was followed by HTC with their One mini and even Sony, with their Z1 compact, which is possibly the best implementation without compromises till date. In that line of “mini” devices, we now have our own Micromax with their “mini” version of the popular flagship – Canvas Turbo. Appropriately named the Micromax Canvas Turbo mini A200, the phone takes its screen size and the specs a notch down, to compete with devices in a different price segment. At the Abu Dhabi event in 2013, Nokia announced two phablets – Nokia Lumia 1520 and Nokia Lumia 1320. Among the two phablets, Nokia Lumia 1520 was the high end phablet with top of the shelf specifications and features. Nokia Lumia 1320, on the other hand, was supposed to be the mid-range phablet. Nokia launched the Lumia 1520 sometime in Dec 2013, but the Lumia 1320 is making its way to the market only now.
Xolo Q3000 is the latest flagship from the company. It comes with a huge 5.7inch Full HD display and is powered by the infamous MediaTek MT6589T quad-core processor. One of its huge selling points is its big display and its huge 4000mAh battery. We recently unboxed the device and brought you the camera samples. Today we will be bringing you the photo gallery of this huge device.
The Nokia Lumia 525, a newly launched device that we unboxed recently, has been known to be a slightly upgraded variant of the Lumia 520. It carries almost exactly the same spec sheet and hardware except for the RAM, which has been upped to 1 GB for obvious reasons. With an incredibly small change in hardware, one would expect everything else to remain the same. But that is not the case with the 525, because it comes with Lumia Black firmware update out of the box, which brings some algorithm-level changes to the already robust camera interface, the Nokia Camera. So, does this change the 520/5’s camera performance in any way? Lets find out from some of our camera samples.
Samsung has just launched the successor of the popular Samsung Galaxy Grand in India as the Galaxy Grand 2. The Galaxy Grand 2 takes after the original Galaxy Grand to compete in the mid-range market. Following Samsung’s trend of having the same design language for most of its product lineup, the Galaxy Grand 2 borrows a lot of design elements from the company’s current flagship – Galaxy Note 3.

We had been showing you photos of the latest devices we unboxed, like the Nokia Asha 502 and the Nokia Lumia 525. Right next in line is the Nokia Asha 503, which is based on the same new design philosophy as the Asha 502 and comes with a really nice frosty iced look for its case. We have the Asha 503 in black, which might not be as photogenic as the Asha 502 but does not look conservative as well. The gloss for the translucent outer shell is something that takes the bland dark look away and introduces some much needed shine. Let us walk you through the hardware and show you how it actually looks in real pictures.
The Nokia Asha 502, announced as a part of the new range of Asha devices at Nokia World, was recently unboxed in our studio. Sporting the all new frost iced look for the outer shell, the bright red Asha 502 immediately caught our fancy. The petite device was very photogenic at first glance, so here we are with a full fledged photo gallery, showing off the brilliant looking case and all of the hardware of the Nokia Asha 502. We just unboxed the brand new Nokia Lumia 525 in white and found it look very slightly different from the Lumia 520. While we are still reviewing the device, we thought it would be a fine idea to show you the phone in pictures, so that one can get to know how exactly the phone looks like, in real pictures, rather than renders or the usual promotional material. With white glossy plastic on the back, the Lumia 525 sports a slightly sleeker design and looks great, like most Lumia devices usually do. So here’s a quick run down of the hardware through our photos.
