Nokia Asha 502 Hands On

Nokia World Event was held at Abu Dhabi as Nokia’s final event before being taken over by Microsoft and Nokia announced a few devices that included a few Lumias and a few Asha phones. Among those few Asha devices was the Nokia Asha 502. The phone shares the same looks as the other devices in Asha 500 series, but comes with a new crystal-clear look fusion of ice-like transparency and bold inner color. Half of the Angry Birds games go free for Windows Phone 8

Angry Birds has been a longstanding mega hit gaming franchise from Rovio and usually, a copy sells for 99 cents, or 55 Indian rupees, in the local currency. There was a time when the original game went free for a while, as a part of Nokia’s promotion, but suddenly now, half of the collection has gone free. We are not sure if this is a store glitch or something, but exactly half of the Angry Birds collection has gone free in the Indian Windows Phone 8 Store. The games that have gone free are – Original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Star Wars II, while the Seasons, Rio and Space are still showing as paid.

Nokia Lumia 2520 Power Keyboard Hands On

The Nokia World event has seen to the introduction of the new Lumia 2520 Windows tablet from the company, restarting its good old Booklet 3G tradition. While the Booklet 3g was a note book, the 2520 is far from it. It is a full touch device, conforming to the demands of today, but of course, you can do work on the 2520 using the pre-installed office suite, but that would be a waste if there is no keyboard/mouse combo. Nokia knows that, and has seen the popularity of the Microsoft Surface accessories, so it has launched a really versatile accessory called the Power Keyboard, which adds a keyboard, a trackpad, complete protection for the tablet in the form of a folio and a battery that can provide 5 extra hours over the original battery life. Nokia Asha 500 Hands On

At the Abu Dhabi Nokia World Event, Nokia announced a few Lumia smartphones and few Asha feature phones. Among the Asha phones announced, the Asha 500 was the entry range device. The phone looks very much like the Asha 501 which was announced a few months back, but comes with a new crystal-clear look fusion of ice-like transparency and bold inner color.

Grand Theft Auto: Truck carrying 22,500 LG G2 Smartphones stolen in Indiana

“Bring me the LG G2, a truck load.” said Mrs. Phillips, and Trevor did, only to return and find his mom missing. But that was in a weird alternate reality gaming universe where “Deludamol” was called LG G2. But in reality, a bizarre incident reveals its similarities with the former, where not one, not two, but a truck, full of LG G2 Smartphones(total 22,500), has been stolen in Indiana, USA. CNet reports that the theft happened when the truck driver, who was on his way to one of the Sprint distribution centers in Kentucky, was taking a bathroom break. Seemingly confirmed by a LG spokesperson, the damage due to this theft is roughly around 12 million USD. That’s a lot of money.

Nokia Lumia 2520 Hands On

Nokia unveiled the Lumia 2520, the company’s first Windows RT tablet at the Nokia World along with a range of Lumia and Asha devices. We already brought you the photo gallery of the tablet, here we have the hands-on video. The Lumia 2520 has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS ClearBlack display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection and runs on Windows 8.1 RT OS. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor. It has a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 F-Stop/Aperture and 720p HD video recording at 30 fps.It also has stereo front facing speakers. Check out the hands-on below.

Nokia Lumia 1520 Hands On

Nokia unveiled the Lumia 1520, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the Nokia World earlier this week. We already brought you the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the hands-on. This is the first Windows Phone smartphone with a  6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD capacitive touch screen ClearBlack display and the display has Gorilla Glass 2 protection. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8 with the latest GDR3 update and Lumia Black for new software features.  Check out the hands on below.

Panasonic recently launched the P11 which has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2(Jelly Bean). The Panasonic P11 comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and it also comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. Panasonic P11 has a solid build quality with a matte finish back that gives it a good grip and feels nice on the hand.

iBall Andi 4.5z, the company’s new smartphone in the Andi series is now available from online retailer Shopclues and packs a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and packs a 1700 mAh battery. Sony India has launched two new headphones, the MDR-10RNC with Noise Canceling capabilities and the MDR-10RBT with Bluetooth and NFC support in India. Sony has also launched the 3-in-1 Headphones with MP3 player and built-in speakers priced at Rs. 8,990. The Sony MDR-10RNC has built-in Intelligence Noise Canceling technology that could be enabled by a press of a button. This automatically activates one of three optimal noise canceling modes based on an analysis of ambient noise. It effectively reduces up to 99.4% of ambient noise whether on an airplane, on a train or in an office with Sony’s digital signal processing technology. Panasonic P11 Unboxing

Panasonic might have announced its retirement from the consumer smartphone market worldwide, but weirdly enough, that has not stopped the company from launching devices in India. One of them is the Panasonic P11, which seems like a specced down version of the P51 that we reviewed earlier. The P11 has almost the same specifications as the P51, with a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, 4GB of internal storage, but running on the older Android 4.1 operating system. But what’s striking is the outer shell, in a radical fluorescent green colour. But not to worry, there are replaceable covers in the box, which we show you in the unboxing video here –
