It has Swipe keyboard from Firstouch to translate and transliterate with patented ‘Swipe’ feature that enables users to communicate in their preferred language, similar to Unite 3 that was launched recently.  It comes pre-loaded with 10 regional languages that includes, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali and Marathi. Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy J1 in India earlier this year, and even introduced its 4G variant dubbed the Galaxy J1 4G. Now specifications of upcoming Galaxy J2 (SM-J200F) smartphone has surfaced. This comes soon after the announcement of the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 selfie-focused smartphones in the J series. Zen Mobile has launched the Sonic 1, the company’s latest budget smartphone. It has a 5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA IPS display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It packs a a 5MP auto focus camera with LED Flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support and has 3G connectivity. Huawei Y336, Y541, Y625 and G620S launched in India, priced between Rs. 5499 and Rs. 9499

Huawei has launched four new smartphones, three in the Y series – Y336, Y541, Y625 and G620S in the G series. The devices will be marketed through the company’s offline distributors across 1000 stores in the initial phase, said the company. The Huawei G620S also has 4G support. All these smartphones run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Emotion UI on top and have dual SIM support.

Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Panipat, Haryana

Airtel has launched their 4G LTE services in Panipat in Haryana, followed by the launch in Hisar, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Ambala and Rohtak recently. In the city, users can access 4G on Mi-Fi, Wi-Fi dongles and Wi-Fi CPEs (Customer Premise Equipment/ routers). Airtel acquired 100% stake in Qualcomm AP’s India BWA licenses in Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana and Kerala circles last year. Truecaller launches Truemessenger SMS app with automatic spam filtering for Android

Developers of Truecaller Caller ID app has launched Truemessenger, a smart SMS app for Android. It lets you replace your standard SMS app so that you can identify the sender of the SMS and detect, block or report spam, fraud, telemarketing, sales, and unknown phone numbers. It also offers automated spam filter that is powered by 150 million Truecaller community members worldwide. It is available exclusively in India, and the company plans to launch it globally in the near future. YU has announced that the YU YUPHORIA smartphone will be available in Golden Ticket Sale tomorrow for select customers those who have registered to buy the smartphone but were unable to get it. The sale happens on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 2 PM to 5 PM. Registered customers who were unable to purchase the YUPHORIA will be eligible to participate in the sale.
