Sony has started rolling out Android 4.4 (KitKat) update (v20.1.B.0.64) for their Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 Dual budget smartphones, as it promised last month when it rolled out KitKat update for T2 Ultra and T2 Ultra Dual. Microsoft unveiled the Lumia 530 Dual SIM, the latest budget Windows Phone 8 handset last month. Snapdeal has started taking pre-orders for the smartphone in India exclusively. The Lumia 530 has a 4-inch FWVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and has a 5-megapixel fixed focus rear camera, but lacks a front-facing camera. Gameloft has released its new Ice Age Adventures for Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms. In this game need to explore new worlds, battle memorable bosses, solve puzzles and take on exciting challenges in an effort to rescue the entire herd. You can play as Sid, Manny and Diego, characters from the Ice Age movies. These characters are voiced by the official actors from the films. Google is back with its Google Play discounted sale. Earlier this year Google celebrated Google Play’s second birthday by offering some games, but it was not impressive compared to the first birthday sale.Today Google has started its new offer that lets you get films and e-books at discounted rates in new sale called “The Great Monsoon Sale”. Google has released updated images of the Android L developer preview. The new images weigh in as build LPV81C and are still only available to the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi. This is an upgrade from the LPV79 build that was released in late June.

Xiaomi drew a lot of flak for not meeting the demand that their first India launch, the Mi 3 saw. Along with the Mi 3, Xiaomi announced a couple of other devices including the cost-effective Redmi 1S and the octa-core monster, the Redmi Note.
OPPO had been teasing the N1 mini via their social feeds through the past week or so. The N1 mini, as the name suggests, is the mini version of the OPPO N1 that happens to be the Chinese phone maker’s first phone in India, launched back in January.
