Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with 5.99-inch FHD+ FullView display launched in India starting at Rs. 9999

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 5, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Redmi Note’ series in India, as it had promised. As expected, it is the same  Redmi 5 Plus that was introduced  in China back in December last year. It has a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 full-screen display, is powered by Snapdragon 625 with up to 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with MIUI 9.2 on top.

Google is testing ‘Reply’ app to bring smart replies to messaging apps

These automated replies will guess what you might reply to the message and adds a button to send that response. Spectra (formerly Spectranet) has launched 1Gbps broadband plans in Bengaluru, after Delhi NCR. It starts at Rs. 899 with 400 GB download limit with option of carrying forward the unused data, while unlimited 1Gbps plan without any cap costs Rs. 1,249. Spectra is present only in select areas in Bengaluru and is expected to expand across the city soon. With the Gigabit plan, Spectra will take on ACT Fibernet that started offering Gigabit broadband recently. We already know that Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 5 smartphone with 18:9 display and Mi TV 4 in India on February 14th. Rumors about the Redmi Note 5 Pro launching alongside surfaced recently. Now the image of the Redmi Note 5 Pro has surfaced along with the rumored specifications of the phone. This reveals a similar 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 screen as the Redmi 5 Plus that will be launched as Redmi Note 5 based on the new leak, which also coincides with our earlier report.

HomePod teardown reveals it is built to last but harder to repair, scores 1 out of 10 rating
