Vivo has launched V20, the company’s new mid-range smartphone in the V series in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, is powered by Snapdragon 720G with 8GB of RAM, 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP mono sensor, as well as a 44MP front-facing camera with autofocus that can focus sharply from 15cm, and zoom out to infinity. OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei reportedly departs from company; starting new venture

Carl Pei and Pete Lau together began OnePlus in December 2013 and the company has since grown to become one of the leading companies in the smartphone industry. However, it looks like Carl Pei will no longer be part of OnePlus’s future as it has been reported that he has left the company to start his own venture.

OPPO Smart TV to be announced on October 19

Last month OPPO confirmed that it will introduce its first Smart TV in China on October 19th. Today it has confirmed the launch date as October 19th. The company already posted a teaser of the TV with a 55-inch 4K screen, minimal bezels and a metal stand. The company is also expected to introduce a 65-inch model alongside.
