Microsoft announces new Windows 11 accessibility features

Microsoft has announced many new accessibility features that coming to Windows 11 at its Accessibility Summit 2022 keynote. The company is apparently preparing Windows 11 22H2 for RTM this month, and it is now nearing general release. Among the new features are a more immersive Focus experience, system-wide live captioning, more efficient voice access tools, and more realistic Narrator voices. Most of these new features to make Windows more accessible have already been tested by Windows Insiders in the Dev and Beta Channel versions. Windows 11 to get tabbed File Explorer, focus timer, intelligent meetings features and more

During an online presentation led by Panos Panay, Microsoft’s chief product officer, Microsoft outlined the future of the Windows desktop experience for its commercial customers. The company wants to bring Windows 11 and Windows 365 closer together, with a lot of help from its Cloud PC service. This will make it easier for businesses that use or give Windows PCs to their employees to work in hybrid situations and improve productivity workflows. Steam Deck beta update brings support for Windows 11

Valve released the Steam Deck console earlier this year, incorporating a design reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch with the open software and hardware of a PC. And the most recent beta update from Steam Deck adds support for Windows 11. The patch includes fTPM for AMD chipsets, which allows players to use exclusive OS features, and several other improvements, such as the ability to type with dual trackpads. Microsoft today released Windows 11, the next major Windows update, as it had promised. As announced earlier, this is a free upgrade to Windows 10 users. Microsoft already confirmed that Windows 11 requires your device to be running on Intel 8th generation or AMD Zen 2 processors and later, but it won’t block manual installation using an ISO. Windows 11 with revamped UI, new start menu and more surface; hints at free upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1

Microsoft is all set to launch the Windows 11 on June 24th. After screenshots of the next-generation Windows OS surfaced on Baidu in China, the full Windows 11 test build seems to have leaked online.
