Apple introduced the iPhone 12 series smartphones with 5G support last week. A tear down video from China has confirmed that the phone uses Qualcomm SDX55 5G modem, which is X55 5G that is also used with Snapdragon 865. The iPhone 11 series used Intel XMM7660 4G mode. After a sharp decline during Q2 2020, the Indian smartphone market has made a strong recovery in the third quarter of 2020, recording a growth of 8% YoY and shipping about 50 million units according to a report from Canalys. OPPO just launched A33, the company’s latest smartphone in the A series in India. It packs a 6.5-inch HD+ punch-hole display with 90Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 89.2% screen-to-body ratio, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
