MediaTek introduced its Dimensity 800U mid-range 5G SoC back in August and it powers several 5G smartphones in China. At the India Mobile Congress 2020 the SoC announced for the Indian market and the company has confirmed that the first phone powered by the Dimesnity 800U processor will be introduced in January 2021.
