Huawei Honor brand introduced its mid-range Honor 6X smartphone and the successor of the Honor 5X smartphone in China back in October last year. Today the smartphone was introduced for the global markets at an event at the CES 2017. We unboxed the phone recently, here is our first impressions of the phone.

Samsung has officially announced Galaxy A series 2017, as expected. The company has unveiled Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphones.
The New Year has already started with a bang for OnePlus 3 and OnePls 3T owners. OnePlus has rolled out official Android Nougat 7.0 based OxygenOS 4.0 for OnePlus 3 and 3T users. The company had already promised to roll out stable Android Nougat update for both the phones by the end of this year.

In an attempt to push digital payment throughout the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an app named as ‘BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money)’ on Google Play Store, that aims to enable faster, easier and secure online payment through a smartphone. Developed by National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), BHIM app has overtook all other popular apps including Whatsapp, Facebook, MyJio and topped Google Play Store. Nintendo released Super Mario Run for iPhone and iPad on December 15th, and it promised to bring the game to Android in 2017. The iOS app clocked record 40 million downloads in 4 days of its release. Today it has started pre-registrations for the Android version on Google Play so you will be notified when the game releases. OnePlus has started rolling out One Beta 10 over-the-air (OTA) update for the OnePlus 3 smartphone that brings a new Data Saver option along with several optimizations and bug fixes. After several soak tests since October, Moto has started rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India officially. This brings a new Moto action that lets you swipe to shrink the screen, and a new setting to disable and enable locking the screen when the screen is on and you touch the fingerprint sensor (for Moto G4 Plus). Nexus 6 owners will have a pretty good start in the new year. The Morotola Nexus 6 is all set to get Android Nougat 7.1.1 update in early January, according to Google. The update will bring Nexus 6 in line with the Nexus 6P, 5X and latest Pixel smartphones.

Nokia is making a comeback next year with two new Android phones. We have already seen renders of the Nokia D1C smartphone earlier this month and now we have a blurry live image of the phone. Along with D1C, Nokia E1 Android smartphone has also surfaced in live images.
Apple is said to debut a 5-inch iPhone with vertical dual cameras, according to a latest report from Japanese outlet Macotakara. Citing unnamed sources, the report said the dual-camera setup similar to what we have seen on the iPhone 7 Plus this year. However, the dual cameras will be arranged vertically and not horizontally.

After confirming that Android 7.0 (Nougat) OTA update for Moto Z and Moto Z Force globally starting in the last week of November, Moto has started rolling out over-the-air (OTA) update for the Moto Z smartphone in India.
