Panasonic India has officially launched three new smartphone, T11 and T21 in the T Series and P11 in the P Series. The company launched their first smartphone, the P51 in India back in May. The P11 and T11 appeared online back in July and went on sale last week. The Panasonic T11 comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display, Panasonic T21 has a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and the Panasonic P11 comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. Both the T11 and P11 comes are powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, while the T21 has a 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom 28145 processor. Not only did Microsoft refresh their tablet lineup, they also announced new and updated accessories for the new generation tablets. Back in July SmartNamo, Android smartphone named after Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi was announced. Later in August Smart Namo Phablet with 6.5-inch 1080p display was unveiled. Now new SmartNaMo phones Saffron and Saffron Two are up for pre-order from online retailer Snapdeal. The Saffron One has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display and the Saffron Two comes with a 6.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display. Oppo have finally revealed all the details of their latest camera centric flagship device – the Oppo N1. The N1 was announced at an event in Beijing amidst much expectations, as we had detailed ours a while back. It has a 5.9 inch full HD resolution IPS display, a O-Touch rear sensor for single handed touch interaction on the back and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Quad Core processor. At 5.9 inches, the device is huge and as a result, sports a massive 3610 mAH battery too. But the main USP is a 13 Megapixel Sony EXMOR RS Stacked CMOS Sensor camera, with a f2.0 aperture six element lens that sits on a rotating swivel and turns 206 degrees!
Apple has just announced that they have sold a record-breaking 9 million new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C models in just three days after the launch on September 20th. These devices were launch in range of countries including, US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK. Demand for the iPhone 5S has exceeded the initial supply, and many online orders are pushed to next month, says the company. Gionee unveiled the Elife E6, the company’s latest flagship phone back in June. The company already announced that the phone would launch in India, now Gionee has sent us an invite for the India launch slated for October 3rd. The Elife E6 has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display based on one-glass solution (OGS+) technology, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589T processor processor and runs on Android 4.2. Two of the largest phablets in the market are the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. The Xperia Z Ultra was announced in June and launched in July while the Galaxy Mega 6.3 was announced in April and launched in June. The Xperia Z Ultra is Sony’s flagship with top of the shelf specifications while the Galaxy Mega is just a big phablet from Samsung.

Ever since we heard of the confirmation that Oppo is launching a new camera-centric flagship device called the Oppo N1, we have been genuinely excited to see what kind of camera innovation the company is going to bring forward. After the confirmation of the product, the company had released an array of teasers, which have revealed quite a lot about the device that is going to launch today. Incidentally, today, or perhaps five years back, was the same day the first ever Android phone(HTC Dream G1) released, and Oppo’s event today is a gentle nod, how cool is that!

Airtel released the my airtel app for Android, iPhone and BlackBerry smartphones back in September 2012. Now the app is available for Windows Phone 8 devices. It lets you manage airtel mobile, broadband & digital tv connections, pay outstanding bills, recharge pre-paid accounts, activate or deactivate any service, raise requests-complaints and more. LG has officially announced the Vu 3, the company’s latest smartphone in the Vu series. It has a a 5.2-inch (1280 x 960 pixels) HD + IPS display at 4:3 aspect ratio, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a front-facing camera. Even though the phone has a larger display, the size of the phone would be similar, and is just 0.2 inches larger than it’s predecessor, says the company. The new iPhone 5S is finally available to order, except when you place an order online Apple say you’ll need to wait 10 days or more for delivery. So instead of 20th September being the release date (for online orders at least), it’s more like the launch of pre-orders! The Sony Xperia Z Ultra is Sony’s biggest phablet and the LG Optimus G Pro is LG’s first Full HD smartphone. Xperia Z Ultra was just recently announced and has been available in India for more than a month now. Optimus G Pro was announced way back in January, but has been available in Indian only since July.
Gionee Elife E5 was announced in early July and falls in the mid-range Android smartphone range. On paper, it has a specification similar to Samsung’s yesteryear flagship, Galaxy S3. It comes with a 4.8inch HD SuperAMOLED display, a quad-core processor, Android 4.2.1 Jellybean, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
The Gionee Elife E5 is powered by MediaTek MT6589 processor, has 1GB of RAM and comes in a pretty well designed package. Elife E5 is currently available for Rs. 18,999 in the market.
The rear camera on the Gionee Elife E5 is an 8MP auto-focus camera that comes with Back Side Illumination(BSI) sensor. There is an LED flash to help you take photographs in low-light conditions. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps. The front camera is a 5MP fixed focus camera with wide-angle lens that fits more into the frame. The front camera records 720p videos at 30fps.
