HTC has officially launched the Desire 500, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Desire series. It went on sale in India online earlier this week and packs a 4.3-inch  (480 × 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Sense 5.  It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. HTC Desire 500 now available in India for Rs. 20499

HTC Desire 500 appeared on Snapdeal last month and it appeared on Flipkart last week, now the phone is available from online retailers Saholic and Infibeam in India.  The Desire 500 was announced back in July and packs a 4.3-inch  (480 × 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Sense 5.  It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. HTC One mini now available in India online for Rs. 34999, Desire 500 coming soon for Rs. 21490

We are reported that HTC plans to launch the One mini and the Desire 500 in India soon. The Desire 500 appeared on Snapdeal last week, now the price of the phone has been revealed. Both the phones have been listed on Flipkart. The One mini was announced back in July and packs a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5. The HTC One mini appeared on the official India yesterday, now the Desire 500 is available for pre-order from online retailer Snapdeal. Online retailer Flipkart has also listed the smartphone as coming soon. HTC announced the Desire 500 in Taiwan last month, now the company has unveiled the smartphone in UK. It has a 4.3-inch  (480 × 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Sense 5. It has an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. The phone has BlinkFeed and  the Video Highlight software seen first on the HTC One and also comes with Beats Audio support. HTC has also announced that it would come with Dual SIM and NFC support based on the region. It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. It has BlinkFeed and Video Highlight software and comes with Beats Audio support, but it lacks BoomSound that was present in the Desire 600.
