Intex Aqua T2 India’s cheapest Android 4.4 smartphone launched for Rs. 2699

Intex has launched the Aqua T2, the latest smartphone in the Aqua series. Intex says that this is the cheapest smartphone running Android 4.4 (KitKat) in India. The company launched the Aqua 4X last week, which is one of the cheapest smartphones in the country with 4-inch display, 3G connectivity and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The Aqua T2 has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. New Motorola Moto X in Black Leather, Bamboo White and Black listed on Flipkart

Motorola introduced the new Moto X earlier this month and announced that it would go on sale on Flipkart later this month. The smartphone has been listed on Flipkart in three variant, standard Black, Bamboo White and Black Leather. Spice Dream UNO Mi-498 Benchmarks

Spice launched the Dream UNO Mi-498, the company’s first Android One smartphone yesterday. We already brought you the unboxing and the first impressions of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with ARM Cortex A7 cores and Mali 400 GPU, has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Sony Xperia E3 and E3 Dual launched in India for Rs. 11990 and Rs. 12990

Sony has launched the Xperia E3 and Xperia E3 Dual, the company’s latest smartphones in the E series. Both these smartphones were unveiled at the IFA 2014 earlier this month and come with a 4.5-inch FWVGA touch screen display, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Flipboard app lands on Windows Phone in private beta

Flipboard will soon launch a Windows Phone app, according to a statement released by the company. The popular digital magazine is already present on all  major platforms like Android, iOS and Blackberry.

At present the Flipboard app has landed on Windows Phone Store in private beta and has some time for a full fledged roll out. At present it has a good collection of news sources, like CNN and Los Angeles Times, personal magazines, social sharing and so on.

“We are working on a Windows Phone version of Flipboard. While we don’t have an exact date for you, it’s on our roadmap and should be available soon”

said Flipboard in an official statement.

It must be noted that the Flipboard app on Windows Phone needs a handset with 1GB RAM. No official date about when the app will be out of beta is known as of yet.

Spice was one of the three manufacturers chosen for the program announced at the Google’s IO conference back in June.
