General Mobile has announced GM 6, its latest budget 4G smartphone in the ‘Android One’ lineup in partnership with Google at the Mobile world congress in Barcelona. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat), has a 5-inch HD display and a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, similar to the GM 5 that was introduced a few months back, but this is powered by a MediaTek MT6737T processor instead of Snapdragon 410 SoC, and has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that also has LED flash. Nokia is officially making a comeback into the smartphone market. The Finish company at its Mobile World Congress press event in Barcelona revealed its newest mid-range smartphone.

The Nokia 5 sports a 5.2-inch HD sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass display and as expected, the form fact of the smartphone resembles that of the old Lumia phones. Nokia claims that the device has a perfect 3D shape back, which is made up of single piece aluminium, which according to the company gives the phone added durability.

Asus has announced ZenFone Live (ZB501KL), which the company claims is the world’s first smartphone that offers real-time beautification with live-streaming beautification app. It lets you see your skin smoothed and blemishes removed in real time, says Asus. It also says that BeautyLive integrates seamlessly with Facebook, YouTube, and many other popular streaming apps. The front-facing 5-megapixel camera has large 1.4µm pixel size and a soft light LED selfie flash.

It packs a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with FlyMe OS 6.0 on the top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that lets you focus in just 0.2 seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
