Huawei’s Honor brand has finally started rolling out EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Honor 8 (FRD-L04) smartphone in the U.S. In addition to Android Nougat, the EMUI 5.0 also brings a range of UI changes including changes to Home-screen Interface, Notification Shade, App Drawer, Recent Apps and more.

Google has bagged a deal to provide WiFi across Pune via its Google Station initiative. The company has received WiFi deal for the Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) under which it will offer fast speed WiFi hotspots in the city. Google is out with its monthly Android distribution chart for the month of February. Android Nougat has finally crossed 1 percent mark nearly six months after its release. Nougat is present on just 1.2 percent of android devices of which only 0.9 percent of devices run Nougat 7.0 while Nougat 7.1 runs only on 0.3 percent of devices. Moto has started rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Moto Z Play smartphone in India finally. This brings a new Moto action that lets you swipe to shrink the screen, and a new setting to disable and enable locking the screen when the screen is on and you touch the fingerprint sensor. To access this setting, you need to go to Security, then tap on the screen lock gear icon. Other features include, Moto Display landscape mode, new Hasselblad TrueZoom mode settings and improvements. Xiaomi today announced Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Special Edition in China. It has the same specifications as the Redmi Note 4 smartphone that was launched in India recently, but comes in two new colors and comes in a unique package that has a Limited edition Mi Power bank and soft protective case printed with Hatsune Miku and the the phone has an unique code along with Hatsune Miku’s signature at the back.
