Verizon discontinuing Droid 2 in favor of Droid 2 World edition?
BGR is reporting that Verizon is going to drop the Motorola Droid 2, and they will replace it with the Droid 2 World edition, which can tun on GSM/HSPA networks. That’s a good news for the people who are looking forward to the Droid 2, because if you love traveling other countries, then the world edition would be good for you. But if you already bought the phone, then this might be a bad news for you, but I don’t think so because the only different thing will be the radio frequencies, everything else would be same.
