Samsung has announced that they have adopted a new simplified naming strategy for its GALAXY range of smartphones. This would categorize the phones into five classes mentioned by a single letter. With Android being affected by various malwares these days, it is necessary to have an Anti-Virus application installed on your device to protect the device from these malwares and also for the security for your Android smartphone or tablet. LG has announced another phone in the Optimus series, Optimus Sol. This phone has 3.8 inch Ultra AMOLED display, 1GHz processor and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). So far the Samsung Galaxy S II has been enjoying incredible sales and with the white version coming soon, the numbers are only set to increase. But even the white one is expected to come in 16GB version. The 32GB version that was promised during the announcement is still unavailable.
An LG spokesman announced that LG has done very well globally as well as in Korea. The LG has managed to sell over 120,000 units of the Optimus 3D since its launch last month on the SK Telecom network.

This version brings Bubble Buttons lab feature, Transit Navigation support for Tablets and Voice and Ringtone Notification for Transit navigation.
