Samsung Galaxy series gets simplified naming, announces 4 new Galaxy Smartphones

Samsung has announced that they have adopted a new simplified naming strategy for its GALAXY range of smartphones. This would categorize the phones into five classes mentioned by a single letter. They have also launched new GALAXY W, GALAXY M Pro, GALAXY Y and GALAXY Y Pro smartphones that runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). This phone has 3.8 inch Ultra AMOLED display, 1GHz processor and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Recently they announced two Optimus phones, Optimus Net with the Dual SIM and NFC support in select markets and a QWERTY phone Optimus Pro. As I write this post, HTC is rolling out a maintainance update for the Vodafone HTC Sensation users. This update will also upgrade your Android version to 2.3.4. If you are a Vodafone HTC Sensation user then you will be getting this update over the air, so all yu need to do is grab your phone and the update to be shown in your notification bar.

Samsung Galaxy S II 32GB Variant Spotted

So far the Samsung Galaxy S II has been enjoying incredible sales and with the white version coming soon, the numbers are only set to increase. But even the white one is expected to come in 16GB version. The 32GB version that was promised during the announcement is still unavailable.

120,000 Units of LG Optimus 3D Sold in South Korea
