OnePlus has released new Oreo-based open betas (Beta 21 for OnePlus 3T and Beta 30 for OnePlus 3) that brings several new features including support for the most expected Face Unlock feature that the company had been teasing it last month. Xiaomi started rolling out Android Oreo update for Mi A1 smartphone on 31st December as it had promised. Later it pulled the update due to bugs and said that it will resume in a couple of weeks after fixing the bugs. Now the company confirmed that it has started rolling out a new OPR1.170623.026.8.1.10 update for the smartphone that includes Android Security patch for January 2018 and also includes bug fixes.

When all the phones are getting Android 8.0 (Oreo), Motorola has started rolling out Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) update for the Moto G4 Play smartphone staring from Brazil. It was launched back in 2016 running Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), but it did not get the Android 7.0 update and is directly being updated to 7.1.1, months after the soak test. HMD Global today announced Nokia 6 (2018), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone and the successor of last year’s Nokia 6, smartphone in China, as expected. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 630 Mobile platform, runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), which is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
