Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro low headphone volume issue fix starts rolling out

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India on 14th February, and released the OTA for enabling face unlock in last week of February. Earlier this week we came across posts on Mi Community in which users reported the Low sound output from headphones issue for the newly launched Redmi Note 5 Pro. Moderators on Mi Community India responded to these posts and asked users to provide buglogs for the issue. Xiaomi quickly addressed the issue and started rolling out a bug fix update this evening.

The new update comes as MIUI NEIMIEK and is of 67 MB is size. The update also brings February security patch to Redmi Note 5 Pro, Note that this is a Nightly build, Xiaomi releases Stable Nightly updates to random users to get feedback and the same update is rolled out to all users as a Stable build if feedback goes well, in case you wish to read more about Nightly ROMs refer to this post. Xiaomi recently launched the Rose Gold and Lake Blue variants of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro and also removed Cash on Delivery to take on unauthorized re-sellers. The Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro Duo will go on sale on 14th March on Flipkart and Mi.com.
