Back in June Xiaomi announced that the combined sales of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro have crossed 5 million sales in India, since it was launched back in February this year, and also claimed that it is the fastest selling phone series in India to cross the 5 million mark in the given time across all platforms. Today the company has started selling the Redmi Note 5 Pro through open sale, after conducting weekly sales for about 6 months. Xiaomi introduces Redmi Note 5 (Redmi Note 5 Pro) 6GB RAM, 128GB storage version in China

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India in 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.0) storage. Later it introduced the same phone as Redmi Note 5 with better specifications in China, but with the same 64GB storage. Now the company has introduced the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version of the smartphone in China. This comes after the Flame Red version of the smartphone that was introduced last month. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (4GB + 64GB) and Mi TV 4 55-inch 4K TV get a price hike by Rs. 1000 and Rs. 5000

After increasing the price of its Mi Power Bank 2i models earlier this month by Rs.100, Xiaomi today announced that it will increase the price of its Redmi Note 5 Pro 4GB RAM with 64GB storage model by Rs. 1000, which will now cost Rs. 14,999 and the Mi TV 4 55-inch 4K HDR TV is getting Rs. 5,000 price hike and will cost Rs. 44,999. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro low headphone volume issue fix starts rolling out

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India on 14th February, and released the OTA for enabling face unlock in last week of February. Earlier this week we came across posts on Mi Community in which users reported the Low sound output from headphones issue for the newly launched Redmi Note 5 Pro. Moderators on Mi Community India responded to these posts and asked users to provide buglogs for the issue. Xiaomi quickly addressed the issue and started rolling out a bug fix update this evening. Xiaomi will remove COD payment for few upcoming Redmi Note 5 Pro sales to curb reselling

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones in India last month, which went on sale exclusively on Flipkart as well as Mi.com from February 22nd, and the company said that over 3 lakh units sold out within minutes. Even though Redmi Note 5 was available for few minutes after the sale opened, Redmi Note 5 Pro goes out of stock in seconds. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with 5.99-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 636, up to 6GB RAM launched in India starting at Rs. 13999

Along with the Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone, as rumored.
