MTV India and Swipe Telecom has partnered once again to launch the Slash, a 7-inch device in Swipe’s Fablet series. It went on sale yesterday from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and comes with 3G support. Videocon A55HD Benchmarks

Videocon launched the A55HD with 5-inch HD display few weeks back at a price tag of Rs. 13499. We brought you the unboxing earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU. It comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display at 295 PPI with one-glass solution (OGS) technology and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

Rovio published Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage last month through Rovio Stars, the new mobile game publishing program. In this game you play as Tiny Thief, an unconventional hero who uses cunning and trickery to out-smart his opponents across six epic medieval adventures. You need to solve the puzzles using interactive gameplay elements. There are over 3500 animations in the game that offers a fun filled gameplay. Gionee has finally announced the most expected Elife E6 at an event in China just now. The Elife E6 packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display based on one-glass solution (OGS+) technology, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589T processor and runs on Amigo ROM Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.2 wide angle lens, BSI sensor, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f2.4 wide angle lens. The phone is 7.9mm thick and has just 2.54mm thin bezel around the display. It weighs just 128 grams. LG Optimus L4 II Dual now available in India for Rs. 8990

The LG Optimus L4 II Dual (E445) that got priced on the official LG India website last month is now available in India from online retailers Flipkart and Infibeam. The L4 II dual was announced back in May along with the Optimus L4 II. It has a 3.8-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek MT6575 and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, dual SIM support with dual standby and a dedicated SIM switch key similar to the other dual SIM L Series II devices. HTC unveiled the Butterfly S, successor of the Butterfly in Taiwan last month. We brought you the photo gallery of the device earlier today. Now we have the benchmarks of the device. The phone has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super LCD 3 display display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 8064T processor clocked at 1.9 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2 GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 5.0. Let’s check out the performance of the smartphone when compared with other high-end Android devices.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Benchmarks

Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 Zoom in India today at a price tag of Rs. 29,900. We unboxed the device earlier this month. Here we have the benchmarks of the S4 zoom. Even though the phone is called a camera phone for its 16-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom it packs a powerful Exynos 4212 dual-core Cortex A9 chip clocked at 1.5 GHz with 400 MHz Mali 400MP4 GPU. Samsung uses the same chip in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The Samsung Galaxy Camera that we reviewed last year uses a quad-core Exynos 4412 chip clocked at 1.4 GHz with 440 MHz Mali-400 MP4 GPU. Both these devices are based on 32 nm HKMGprocess.

Twitter for Android, iPhone and iPad updated with DM sync, improved search and more

Twitter has updated the apps for Android, iPhone and iPad apps that brings direct messages (DM) sync across all your devices, so when you read a DM on your a device, it will be marked as read in other devices. Twitter for Android v4.1.2, iPhone and iPad v5.8 update brings improved search results that shows expanded user result with full bio when you search for people on Twitter. It also shows similar accounts when you swipe to the left, and a new in-app indicator in search results will show you when there are new Tweets for your query. The iPhone app now has built-in Tweet composer that appears when you tap to see details.
