Samsung has launched the Galaxy S6 edge+ smartphone in India. It was announced at the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event last week and packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display that is curved on both the sides, is powered by a Octa-Core ( Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz) Exynos 7420 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Meizu MX5 to launch in India exclusively on Snapdeal

Meizu has announced that it has partnered with Snapdeal to sell its flagship MX5 smartphone in India. It had partnered with Amazon.in to sell its m1 note and the m2 note smartphones in the country. The MX5 has mBack touch-sensitive home button that offers different functions based on press, similar to the m2 note. It also has a mTouch 2.0 fingerprint sensor on the home button, comes with 4G connectivity with support for LTE bands for India. It has partnered with hardware manufacturer Infinix to launch Infinix Hot 2 Android One smartphone in 6 African countries – Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco and Nigeria. iberry’s Auxus has launched Auxus PRIME P8000 in partnership with Chinese smartphone maker Elephone exclusively on Snapdeal, as it announced yesterday. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It supports Elephone ROMs and customized ROMs. It has 4G LTE connectivity with support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India.

The MX5 packs a 3150mAh built-in battery with mCharge fast charging technology that charges the MX5 from 0 to 25% in 10 minutes and to 60% in 40 minutes with its supported charger. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core SoC.
