ASUS Zenfone 5Z with 6.2-inch FHD+ 19:9 display, Snapdragon 845, AI dual rear cameras launching in India on July 4

Honor 7X gets a price cut in India, now starts at Rs. 11999

Huawei’s Honor Brand launched the Honor 7X smartphone in India back in December last year starting at Rs. 12,999. Today the company has announced a permanent price cut for the smartphone. The company even introduced a limited Red Edition earlier this year that joined Black, Blue and Gold color variants, and started manufacturing the phone in partnership with Flex at its plant in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. Airtel appoints Ajay Chitkara as director and CEO of its B2B unit, combines domestic and global enterprise business

Bharti Airtel today announced that it has appointed Ajay Chitkara as Director and CEO of Airtel Business, and the company has integrated both domestic enterprise and global enterprise operations. Ajay will continue reporting to Gopal Vittal, who is the MD and CEO of Bharti Airtel. The company has also appointed Pankaj Miglani as CEO – Global Business. He will report to Ajay Chitkara. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Bharti Infratel and played a key role in the company’s IPO in 2012.

Xiaomi now has 1000 service centers in over 600 cities across India, leader in after sales service

Xiaomi has achieved a new milestone by opening its 1000th authorized service center in India in Hyderabad. This includes 500 service centers for Mi TV. It opened its 500th service center in Bengaluru back in June last year. Xiaomi’s service centers are now in over 600 cities in 4 years since the company entered India. The company said that it has over 6000 workforce contributing to the service network. Airtel to deploy 15000 new mobile sites, Massive MIMO pre-5G technology, 3000 kms of additional optic fiber in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
