Along with the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi also announced the Mi 10 Lite 5G, a cheaper 5G phone for the global markets. It packs a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, is powered by the latest Snapdragon 765G with support for built-in 5G stand alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks, comes with 48-megapixel rear camera, ultra-wide-angle lens, macro and a depth sensor with Night mode 2.0, AI Dynamic Skyscaping, and Vlog mode. Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 with Bluetooth 5.0, dual microphones for noise cancellation announced

Along with the new Mi 10 series smartphones, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi True Wireless Earphones  2, which is the global version of the Mi AirDots Pro 2 which was introduced in China back in September last year. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and LDHC Hi-Res audio codec, smart voice controls, dual microphones for ENC, which is environmental noise cancellation. It also has 14.2mm drivers for better audio output. It automatically connects with the phone running MIUI when you open the case and pick up the earphones. Redmi K30 Pro to launch in India under POCO, hints MIUI Camera app code

Redmi introduced its latest smartphone in the flagship killer K series, Redmi K30 Pro 5G along with Zoom edition in China earlier this week. Redmi K30 Pro 5G is the successor to Redmi K20 Pro which was quite popular and an easy recommendation in its price category in India. While everyone was waiting to hear about the Redmi K30 Pro India launch from Redmi India team, a new finding from XDA suggests that the smartphone might launch under POCO in India.

Get Android 10 on Redmi Note 7 Pro with Evolution X ROM

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in India back in February last year running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) and it was amongst the popular mid-range devices in 2019. Xiaomi Mi 10 India launch event postponed

Last week Xiaomi announced the launch of its flagship Mi 10 smartphone in India on March 31st after it was introduced in China last month. Today the Xiaomi India head and VP Manu Jain has announced that the event will be postponed to later date due to the current situation in the country. Redmi Smart Display 8″ with HD screen, built-in camera, XiaoAi AI announced

At the Redmi K30 Pro launch event Xiaomi’s Redmi brand also introduced Redmi Smart Display 8″ with an 8-inch HD 178° ultra-wide viewing angle screen, a built-in camera and third-generation XiaoAi AI assistant. This acts as a hub to IoT products to control smart home devices such as security camera with touch screen, voice command, or even hand gestures. Redmi Smart TV MAX 98-inch 4K HDR TV announced

Along with the Redmi K30 Pro, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand also introduced its Redmi Smart TV Max, which is its largest TV. It has a whopping 98-inch 4K screen with HDR support, has minimal bezels, features MEMC motion compensation technology so there no ghosting  issues, is powered by new Amologic 12nm T972 chip jointly developed by Xiaomi and Amlogic, has quad-core A55 processor architecture with up to 1.9GHz clock speed that promises 63% better performance and up to 55% improved power efficiency. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max sale delayed due to state lockdowns across India

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max smartphones in India earlier this month. The Redmi Note 9 Pro went on first sale on Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores on 17th March, and at the launch event the company said that the Note 9 Pro Max  will be available from Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores starting from March 25th. Now announced that the phone will not go on sale on the promised date and will be available soon without mentioned any tentative date. Xiaomi suspends MIUI 11 China Beta Update, might begin MIUI 12 development soon

Xiaomi introduced MIUI 11 back in September 2019 in China followed by MIUI 11 Global launch in October in India. MIUI 11 brought new features such as New Minimalistic Design, Blur App Previews, Quick Replies, New Dynamic Sound Effects, Mi Share, Floating Calculator, Update Mi File Manager, Steps Trackers and more to eligible devices.

Redmi Note 9S with 6.67-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 720G, 5020mAh battery announced

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today announced Redmi Note 9S, as it had promised. This is the global version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro that was launched in India last week. It has similar specifications including a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, Snapdragon 720G 8nm SoC, 48-megapixel primary rear camera with Samsung GM2 Sensor, 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide angle lens, 5-megapixel 2cm macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, 16-megapixel camera on front, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, glass back with Aurua Balance design and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and pack a 5020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Update: March 19, 2020 – Redmi has posted new images of the phone in Green, White and Purple colors. It has also confirmed 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink, Game Turbo 3.0, 4D vibration when playing games and said that it has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for high-performance gaming.

Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi Y2 start receiving Android Security Patch updates in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi Y2 in India back in 2018 running MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo), all three devices received Android 9.0 (Pie) based MIUI 10 followed by MIUI 11 update last year. The above-mentioned devices may not receive another Android version update in the future but Xiaomi keeps rolling out Android security patch even for old devices from time to time.
