Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G live images surface — punch-hole 120Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 865, 108MP quad rear cameras, 65W fast charging

Xiaomi already confirmed that it will introduce Mi 10 powered by Snapdragon 865 Mobile platform with Samsung’s 108MP sensor in Q1 2020. Today live images of the smartphone have surfaced revealing the design of the smartphone. The images show curved punch-hole screen, which should be AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and feature in-display fingerprint scanner, quad rear cameras, which should be similar to Mi Mix Alpha and a 3D curved glass back. The box confirms the Mi 10 Pro 5G name, and there should also be the standard Mi 10 version. Xiaomi launches Mi Portable Wireless Mouse in India for Rs. 499

After teasers Xiaomi has launched Mi Portable Wireless Mouse, the company’s first Laptop/PC accessory in India. The mouse has an ABS plastic light-weight body at just 70 grams (without the battery), features an ergonomic design for comfortable usage, comes with primary photoelectric sensor and has 1200 DPI for rapid and accurate mouse movement, but it doesn’t feature DPI adjustment. Xiaomi Mi A3 Android 10 update will roll out mid-February, confirms company

Xiaomi introduced the Android One series of smartphones in collaboration with Google back in September 2017, the Android One program guarantees a couple of Android version updates with regular security patch updates. Xiaomi has been releasing a new Android One device with a focus on cameras and design every year since 2017, and as a result, we have Mi A1, Mi A2, and Mi A3 under the Android One program from Xiaomi. Xiaomi Mi A2 Android 10 update starts rolling out

Xiaomi announced the Mi A2 under the Android One program back in July 2018. The smartphone was launched running Android 8.1 (Oreo), and the company updated it to Android 9.0 (Pie) in December 2018. Android One devices from other brands such as HMD and Motorola have already received Android 10 update, as per the Android One policy, the Mi A2 is eligible to receive Android 10 update. Xiaomi teases MIUI 12 officially ahead of launch later this year

Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 11 along with Mi 9 Pro 5GMi MIX Alpha 5G, and Mi AirDots Pro 2 at an event in China at the end of September, and it was roll out to range of devices starting from October. Today the company has started teasing the MIUI 12, the next major update with a new image. This shows a blue colored gradient on the number ’12’ which hints at even more visual changes. Redmi Note 8 Pro gets a new Twilight Orange color variant

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone last year in Gamma Green, Halo White and Shadow Black colors, and the Electric Blue version of the phone went on sale later. Today it has introduced new Twilight Orange color variant of the phone in China. It has also introduced Red color version of the Redmi 8 in China, which is already available in India. RedmiBook laptops could launch in India soon as Xiaomi files trademark

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced the RedmiBook 13 and RedmiBook 14 Pro laptops last year in China and a lot of users in India were waiting for the company to launch its lineup of laptops here. Xiaomi’s MIUI is well-known for the customizations it offers, despite being user-friendly and customizable, people had some complaints with MIUI such as Notification Shade and MIUI Launcher. Xiaomi says it has fixed Mi Home Security Camera bug that displayed pictures from other cameras on Google Nest hub

Xiaomi launched its Home Security Camera earlier this year which supports 1080p recording with AI motion detection, infrared night vision, and more. While there has been a rise in the use and adoption of home security cameras and other smart home devices recently, there are issues related to privacy and security. Get Android 10 on Redmi Note 5 Pro with Pixel Experience

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was amongst best-selling devices last year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat, and was updated to Android 8.1 (Oreo) in June 2018. The company rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) update to the smartphone back in May this year, the device is almost 18 months old and has already received two Android updates. It is almost certain that Xiaomi will not update the Android version on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but in case you own a Redmi Note 5 Pro and wish to keep your device updated with the latest Android version, you may try a custom ROM.
