Xiaomi just launched its Mi TV Stick, the company’s first streaming stick in India, as it had announced. This comes after Mi Box 4K that was launched in May. It runs Android TV 9.0 and comes with built-in Chromecast that lets you stream 1080p content. It also comes with Mi Voice Remote with Netflix and Prime video shortcuts and Assistant button for easy voice search. Since it comes with Google Play, you can download apps and games easily. Xiaomi teases Mi TV Stick with Voice Remote ahead of announcement

Back in March a roadmap for Xiaomi’s upcoming products surfaced revealing that the company is planning to launch Mi TV Stick, a compact version of its Mi TV Box in Europe in May. Now that May is over, the company did not introduce any such product, however at an event in Germany yesterday to launch the Redmi Note 9 series phones, the company teased the Mi TV Stick with an image. Xiaomi Mi TV Box 4K TV box with Voice Remote launching in India on May 8

Update: Xiaomi has posted new teasers confirming the launch of Mi TV Box in India on Friday. This will be the first time the company is launching a smart TV box in the country. It said that it will work with up to 4K TVs, support Dolby Audio, feature built-in Chromecast and come with Voice Remote. Xiaomi said to launch several products including new Mi TV Stick in Europe in Q3 and Q4 2020

Xiaomi launched the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones and also introduced the Mi AirDots Pro 2 as Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 for the European market at a global event last month. Now the complete Xiaomi product roadmap for the European market has surfaced. This reveals several products, including an unreleased Mi TV Stick that should be compact version instead of opting for a Mi TV Box, which is also due for an upgrade.
