Xiaomi ‘Mi Commerce’ platform lets you purchase products from retail stores staying at home

Due to the ongoing nationwide lockdown, users are unable to purchase mobile phones or any electronic items as e-commerce companies are not allowed to deliver in all places yet. After vivo’s Smart Retail offline solution, Xiaomi India has now launched a hyperlocal solution to help users purchase any Xiaomi product amid COVID-19 lockdown.

Mi Commerce is a hyperlocal solution introduced by Xiaomi and it allows users to purchase any Xiaomi product from a nearby retail store while staying at home. The process is fairly simple – Users looking to purchase any Xiaomi product can send a WhatsApp message to Xiaomi’s Business account number +918861826286→choose a nearby store→select a product→express interest→sign in to Mi account→submit the order. The store will check the inventory and call the user to confirm the order and delivery time. Alternatively, users can also visit https://local.mi.com/ and follow similar steps to submit their order.

Users can select 1 quantity only and submit their previous interest before adding more products to the wish list. The payment method is Pay On Delivery and it also guarantees Same Day Delivery. Xiaomi also promises that the delivery staff will ensure hygienic and safe delivery of the product. It is to be noted that Mi Commerce platform exists in addition to Xiaomi’s own online store mi.com as well as e-commerce platforms.
