Xiaomi today launched Mi Wireless Power Bank 10000mAh with support for two-way fast charging, as expected. It was introduced in China last year and comes with 18W two-way fast charging as well as support for wireless 10w fast charging for Qi devices and 7.5W Max for iPhone Wireless Charging. The company says that it supports charging of 2 devices at the same time, Wireless Charging + USB-A Output. Redmi Note 9S with quad rear cameras, punch-hole display to be announced on March 23

After the launch of Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max smartphones in India last week, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 9S smartphone in Singapore on March 23rd. The teaser images confirm quad rear camera set up, similar to the Note 9 Pro and a punch-hole display, which the company calls “DotDisplay”. Redmi Note 9 Pro Unboxing and First Impressions

Smartphone brands have been on a launch spree lately and we have been seeing back to back smartphone launches from various brands in India. On similar lines, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched the Redmi Note 9 Series and this comes almost after 5 months of the launch of Redmi Note 8 Series. At an online event today, Redmi India launched two new smartphones – Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. We got the Redmi Note 9 Pro and here’s our first impressions of the same. Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max with 6.67-inch FHD+ Dotdisplay, Snapdragon 720G, 5020mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 12999

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just launched Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max, two new smartphones as a successor of last year’s Redmi Note 8 Pro in India, as it had promised. These phones have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection and are powered by the latest Snapdragon 720G 8nm SoC. The Redmi Note 9 Pro features a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with Samsung GM2 Sensor, while the Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 64-megapixel camera with Samsung GW1 sensor. Other cameras are similar that includes an 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide angle lens, 5-megapixel 2cm macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front in Note 9 Pro Max and the Note 9 Pro has a 16-megapixel camera. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Android 10 update finally starts rolling out

Xiaomi announced the Mi A2 Lite under the Android One program back in July 2018. The smartphone was launched running Android 8.1 (Oreo), and the company updated it to Android 9.0 (Pie) in November 2018. The company has already rolled out Android 10 to Mi A3 and Mi A2 India and now it has started rolling out Android 10 update to Mi A2 Lite users, the company recently released Android 10 based Kernel Sources for Mi A2 Lite. Redmi shows off LCD in-display fingerprint scanner, says it is ready for mass production

Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing today announced that the company has successfully implemented LCD Fingerprint scanning on an LCD screen. At present, all LCD screen mobile phones only use physical fingerprint sensor on the back or the side. The Redmi R&D team has now overcome this problem with a new method and in-screen fingerprint on LCD screens is also ready for mass production, said the company. Realme 6 series and Redmi Note 9 series India launch events cancelled due to coronavirus concerns, will have online launch

Last week realme announced an event in India to launch the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro smartphone on March 5th. Today the company has decided to cancel the event due to coronavirus concerns in the country. The company will still offer live stream of the event, in which the CEO Madhav Seth will give live speech at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi.
