Xiaomi last week introduced new Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with customizable RGB lights for all the 104 keys and Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset Youth Edition. It has TTC Red switches with a 3-mm travel distance. It uses Sonix microcontroller with a 32-bit Cortex-M0 core and USB interface supporting a 1000 Hz polling rate.
Back in June Xiaomi announced that the combined sales of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro have crossed 5 million sales in India, since it was launched back in February this year, and also claimed that it is the fastest selling phone series in India to cross the 5 million mark in the given time across all platforms. Xiaomi has finally started teasing its sub-brand POCO in India ahead of the launch of POCOPHONE F1 in the country. Jai Mani, lead product manager, Xiaomi India tweeted that he has been working on the project. Even though the phone it teased as POCOPHONE by Xiaomi for global markets, it is teased as POCO by Xiaomi in India, which rhymes like OPPO who launched the Realme sub-brand recently to take on Xiaomi’s Redmi.
Xiaomi POCOPHONE F1 surfaced in an online listing in Romania this week, now the unboxing of the smartphone has surfaced online. This shows a display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch, Snapdragon 845 SoC with support for liquid cooling ,6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, dual rear cameras, 20MP front camera along with IR face unlock, similar to the Mi 8, fingerprint sensor on the back and a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging along with QC 3.0 charger in the box. Xiaomi today announced that Holitech Technology which is its key component supplier will start smartphone component manufacturing in India. Xiaomi is celebrating 5th anniversary of Redmi phones, as first Redmi device was announced on 31st July 2013. In a tweet, the company’s VP and India Head, Manu Kumar Jain shared a picture of Redmi devices he used till date, surprisingly, the picture shows a device with red rear panel which is yet to be introduced in India. Qin AI Phone, a new 4G VoLTE feature phone is now available for order from Xiaomi’s crowd funding platform in China. It has a 2.8-inch QVGA color display with T9 keyboard and runs Android-based Mocor 5 OS. The main highlight of the smartphone its AI voice features that promises real-time voice translation in 17 languages. The AI can also tell a story or poetry to children, in addition to answering questions.

Xiaomi launched the new 10000mAh and 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i as ‘Made in India’ power banks back in November last year for Rs. 799 and the 20000mAh Mi Powerbank 2i is priced at Rs. 1499, however the company increased the price of the power banks by Rs. 100 in April this year without giving a proper reason for the hike.
