Redmi K20 with Snapdragon 855, 48MP rear camera, pop-up front camera to be announced on May 28


Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just announced that its ‘flagship killer’ Redmi K20 will be introduced at an event in Beijing, China on May 28th. The company already said that it will be the Flagship Killer, will be powered by Snapdragon 855, feature a 48-megapixel rear camera and a pop-up front camera. The company already posted a teaser with a pop-up front camera that has been tested 300,000 times and a no-notch display. The new image says ‘Whatever it takes’ and ‘flagship killer’.

Redmi President Lu Weibing already confirmed that it will retain the 3.5mm audio jack the internal code name for the phone is ‘The Demon King’.

The phone said to pack a 6.39-inch FHD+ OLED display, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, MIUI 10 based on Android Pie, 48MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 8MP telephoto lens and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens, 20MP pop-up front camera, sixth generation in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging.

The Redmi K20 will also launch in India soon after it goes official in China, as confirmed by the Xiaomi India Head and VP Manu Jain. We should know all the details when the phone goes official next Tuesday.
