Samsung has announced its Exynos 7 Series 7904 processor for its mid-range smartphones targeted at Indian market. This includes support for triple-camera support and supports single-camera resolution of up to 32-megapixels (MP). The company said that the third camera in a smartphone can take panoramic pictures with wide angles or add bokeh effects for aesthetic blur in portraits. Samsung has finally started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) One UI stable update for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note9 smartphones in India, as it had promised. Apart from the One UI visual changes, there are many other changes and new features including new adaptive themes for the keyboard that change based on the app you’re currently using, charging information in Always On Display, Scene Optimizer for the Camera app, and the ability to run DeX with a USB Type-C to HDMI cable while also being able to use the phone when DeX mode is active.
Samsung along with the regular and a plus-sized Galaxy S10 is said to be prepping a 5G variant whose name is said to be finalized as Galaxy S10 X. Three new Samsung smartphones – Galaxy A9 (2018), Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy J6 that were launched last year have received a price cut in India. The quad-ccamera Galaxy A9 and triple-camera Galaxy A7 have received Rs. 3000 price cut from that current MOP, while the Galaxy J6 has received Rs. 1000 price cut from current MOP.
