Samsung Electronics today announced that its Exynos Auto 8890 processor will be powering German automobile manufacturer Audi’s third generation high-spec modular infotainment platform (MIB). The advanced in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system will be equipped as standard in the new A4 and upcoming models.

Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 Android Pie One UI update starts rolling out in India

After the Android Pie update for Galaxy M30 earlier this week, Samsung has started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) One UI 1.1 update for the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 smartphones in India, few days before it had promised. These phones were launched in January running Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Samsung Experience 9.5. Apart from the One UI visual changes, there are many other changes and new features including new adaptive themes for the keyboard that change based on the app you’re currently using, Scene Optimizer for the Camera app, and more. Samsung Galaxy M40 with Infinity O display, triple rear cameras launching in India on June 11 on Amazon

Samsung has announced that it will introduce the most-expected Galaxy M40 smartphone in India on June 11th on Amazon.in. It has also confirmed Infinity O Display with ultra narrow bezels, Snapdragon 6 Series SoC and triple rear cameras.

Samsung Galaxy A50 gets a price cut in India, now available starting at Rs. 18490

Samsung launched the Galaxy A50 mid-range smartphone in India earlier this year. It was launched at a price of Rs. 19,990 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant and Rs. 22,990 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage variant. Today, the smartphone has received an Rs.1500 price cut in India and will be available to buy with the revised prices starting today.

Samsung has finally started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) One UI 1.1 update for the Galaxy M30, few days before it had promised. The phone was launched in February running Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Samsung Experience 9.5. Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 Android Pie update to roll out in India from June 3

Samsung launched the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and the Galaxy M30 smartphones this year in India. All these run Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Samsung Experience 9.5, compared to Android 9.0 (Pie) with One UI in the latest Galaxy A series. Today the company has announced that all the three smartphones will get  Android 9 Pie update, bringing important improvements and security patches starting from June 3, 2019.

Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ Cardinal Red colour variant surfaces in press images

Samsung launched its flagship smartphones Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e earlier this year in India. At the launch, the S10, and S10 Plus were available in Prism White, Black, Green and in Ceramic Black, White colors. Samsung One UI update now rolling out for Galaxy Watch, Gear S3 and Gear Sport

Samsung introduced its new One UI for Galaxy smartphones last year as part of Samsung firmware updates to Android 9 Pie. It was included in the Galaxy smartphones launched in 2019 i.e., Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy A(2019)series. Now, Samsung has started rolling out One UI for its smartwatch lineup which includes Galaxy Watch, Gear S3, and Gear Sport.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ Olympic Games Edition announced

Samsung has introduced Galaxy S10 + Olympic Games Edition (SC-05L) in Japan as a part of its 2019 summer lineup, ahead of 2020 Olympic Games in Japan. The company had been releasing Olympic Edition phones since 2018 with Galaxy Note Olympic Edition, Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Edition in 2014, Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition in 2016 and the Galaxy Note8 2018 Winter Olympic Games Limited Edition last year. And we should see a lot more, seeing as Samsung’s sponsorship of the event doesn’t end until 2028.

Samsung Galaxy A Series smartphone sales cross 5 million in 70 days in India

Last month Samsung announced that it sold 2 million Galaxy A series smartphone in 40 days, today the company has announced that it has sold 5 million units in 70 days. This includes Galaxy A10, A20, A30, A50, A70 and the Galaxy A2 Core since March 1st. The company added that it generated over US$ 1 billion in revenue for the company, and aims to sell US$ 4 billion worth of Galaxy A smartphones this year.

Samsung introduces 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 and 48MP GM2 image sensors for smartphones

Samsung has introduced two new 0.8-micrometer (μm) pixel image sensors — 64-megapixel (Mp) Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 and 48Mp ISOCELL Bright GM2. The new ISOCELL Bright GW1 is a 64Mp sensor offers the highest resolution, and the new ISOCELL Bright GM2 48Mp sensor is the successor of last year’s ISOCELL Bright GM1 48Mp sensor that is being used in most smartphones this year.
