AT&T to offer LG Thrill 4G for only $99 on contract

LG Thrill 4G was officially announced by AT&T back in March which is actually AT&T variant of world’s first ever 3D Android smartphone known as the LG Optimus 3D. We recently heard that AT&T will be launching it this month and July is about to end. Well, it seems that the launch is around the corner because BGR is reporting that AT&T will be launching it for $99 with a 2-yr contract but still no words on release date, but my guess is that either it’s coming in few days or probably in the first week of August. Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread Update Now Available For LG G2x

After waiting for almost 4 months, LG finally rolled out the official Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) update for the LG G2x smartphone. Sadly, this update is not available via. Over-The-Air (OTA).

Back in March, T-Mobile announced the Android powered LG G2x smartphone. This handset is the T-Mobile’s version of the popular LG Optimus 2X smartphone. LG G2x originally runs on the old Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. Back in April, T-Mobile promised that, the powerful LG G2x will get the Gingerbread update soon. LG Optimus Black Running WP7 Spotted ?

The guys at 3G Centrum have got their hands on a very interesting LG Handset. The phone which looks identical to the Android based LG Nova is running a build of Windows Phone 7. While it first appeared that a skin had been loaded over the default Android installation but so far none of the skins are as elaborate which lends further weight behind the thought that LG might be coming out with a WP7 based handset in the same shell as the Optimus Black.

LG Optimus Net and LG Optimus Pro gets official

Earlier this week LG’s first Android QWERTY business phone LG Optimus Pro was spotted in Italy. Now the LG Optimus Pro (C660) and the LG Optimus Net (P690) gets official through the LG Italy Facebook page. The LG Optimus Net is the successor of LG Optimus One, that was launched last year. LG Optimus 3D Preview

We are lucky to get our hands on the LG Optimus 3D which is the world’s first 3D phone and the world’s first 3D smartphone. The 3D experience does not require you to wear 3D glasses as the phone packs a glassless/glassfree 3D display. You can also capture 3D Video footage and pictures talks to the 3D Stereoscopic camera on the back.The phone was announced this year at Mobile World Congress and the unit we are currently playing with looks a lot more stable and polished.  While we work on the full blown review , we decided to do a little preview considering the demand from you lovely readers.Take a look at the video below for a short overview of the Optimus 3D

LG Optimus 3D to come with 3 pre-loaded Stereoscopic 3D games

LG has announced that the LG Optimus 3D would come pre-loaded with 3 stereoscopic 3D (S-3D) games. They have also introduced 17 stereoscopic 3D games from the leading mobile Game developer Gameloft that could be downloaded at discounted rates for LG Optimus 3D owners. The LG Optimus 3D was announced at MWC 2011 this February and now officially launched in Korea and is up for pre-order in UK. AT&T launching LG Thrill 4G and HTC Status this month, BlackBerry Torch 4G in August?

AT&T is one of the largest US carriers and they are offering number of Android devices. Recently, they announced two new Android devices known as HTC Status and LG Thrill 4G. HTC Status is AT&T version of HTC ChaCha which is a small device that comes with a dedicated Facebook button. The LG Optimus Black which we got our hands on at Mobile World Congress has been available in India for some time now and now we have official confirmation of the launch with LG calling it the World’s Brightest Smartphone. The device is priced at Rs.20990 MRP and is available for around Rs.19990 in the market. The specialty of the Optimus Black is the 4 inch NOVA IPS LCD Display. LG Optimus One Gets The Android 2.3 Gingerbread Update In Romania

The guys living in Romania have finally started receiving the Android 2.3.3 update for their LG Optimus One. The latest update is working fine for everyone and there are no major issues, except the proximity sensor, which turns the screen off on a larger distance during a phone call.

LG Optimus One is the company’s largest selling Android handset. LG managed to sell more than 1 million units of Optimus One in just 40 days. This handset originally runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System. Possible shot of next Google Nexus device leaked, LG or HTC?

Earlier this month, Google held their annual developer’s conference which is known as Google I/O. Google introduced a lot of good stuff there and we were impressed by their upcoming new good things.
