Apple is introducing two new updates to their digital voice assistant Siri in the latest version of iOS Beta. First, they are introducing two new voices to choose from, and second, Siri will no longer default to either a male or female voice when being set up for the first time.
When Apple launched the iPhone SE (2020), there was quite a bit of disappointment among the tech community when Apple made the decision to simply recycle the iPhone 8 design. Fresh rumours have surfaced now that suggest Apple will continue to use the same 4.7-inch LCD screen for an iPhone SE update in 2022.
Apple has announced that the virtual WWDC 2021 conference will begin June 7 and go on till June 11th. Apple has announced that they are expanding the Independent Repair Provider program to more than 200 countries, including India, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and more. The program is designed to help independent Apple service centers receive training and access to Apple genuine parts, tools and repair manuals.
Apple has released iOS 14.4.2 and iPadOS 14.4.2 as well as watchOS 7.3.3, few weeks after it released the iOS and iPadOS 14.4.1, and watchOS 7.3.2 update and a couple of months after the iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 got released brining new features. When Apple introduced the iPhone 12 series, their decision to not include a charger in the box was not received positively by many consumers. Now, consumer protection foundation Procon-SP, from São Paulo has slapped a fine of $2 million on Apple for selling iPhones without a charger in Brazil.
Lately, there have been multiple rumours of Apple introducing Mini-LED displays in the upcoming refresh of the iPad Pro models. Now, Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo has released a new report that claims that Apple will introduce OLED displays in the iPad Air later in the second half of 2022.

Apple has confirmed that it will be assembling the latest iPhone 12 smartphone in India soon, months after the phone was introduced back in October. This comes after the company started assembling the iPhone SE 2020, locally in India at the Wistron facility in Bengaluru back in August last year. The company also started selling the iPhone 11 that was assembled in India last year, and the iPhone 12 local assembly should begin soon. In a new research note, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed a possible roadmap for Apple’s plans for AR/MR headsets. He predicts that Apple will first launch a helmet type mixed reality headset in 2022, followed by AR glasses in 2025 and finally AR contact lenses in the 2030s.
Apple is reportedly planning to release updated iPads and MacBook laptops with OLED displays. These OLED devices will go into production by the end of 2021, and likely early next year. They are rumoured to exist alongside their upcoming Macbooks with Mini-LED displays.
