Apple announced a range of new updates across their ecosystem designed to improve the accessibility of many of their products. Among them is SignTime, which is a new service by Apple that will enable people who are have hearing disabilities to access sign language interpreters on-demand at Apple Stores and for Apple Support.
Today is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, and in support, Apple is introducing two new Apple Watch bands along with accompanying Watch faces, namely the Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop and the Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop.
After rumours and teasers, Apple today announced that all Apple Music subscribers will get Spatial Audio with support for Dolby Atmos and Lossless Audio will be available for Apple Music subscribers starting from June at no additional cost.

Apple recently teased a new special announcement in their Apple Music app, showing a video of an revolving Apple Music logo with multiple rows of “Apple Music” text behind it. Along with teaser, hidden within the source code of the Apple Music web app, there are references to ‘Lossless’ and ‘Hi Res Lossless’ music, which may be the reason behind the announcement.

Apple often talks about their App Store being a highly secure platform for mobile applications for their customers. In a recent blog post, the company claims to have prevented nearly $1.5 billion in potentially fraudulent transactions in 2020, protecting customers from theft of their money, information, and time.
Apple may be working on a new model of the MacBook Air laptop, that may come in multiple new colours, similar to the new iMac. According to a YouTube video by popular leaker, Jon Prosser, the new Macbook will have a new design, with thinner bezels and new colours, including Blue and Green.

Apple has announced that an amount of $45 million will be awarded from its Advanced Manufacturing Fund to Corning Incorporated, to advance the company’s R&D efforts and expand their manufacturing capacities in the U.S.A.
Apple Music, the music streaming service from Apple, will reportedly receive native support for HiFi music, based on code found iOS 14.6. Reports indicate that Apple will offer the feature at the same price and may also add support for Dolby Atmos” and “Dolby Audio”.

According to popular Apple analyst, Ming Chi Kuo, Apple will be entering the foldable smartphone market segment as soon as 2023, with the launch of an 8-inch foldable iPhone. The device will reportedly feature an 8-inch QHD+ flexible OLED display and use a silver nanowire touch solution for the device’s display.

Apple has reported quarterly revenue of $89.6 billion, an increase of over $31 billion or 54% from a year ago. It posted a net profit of $23.6 billion, up 29.7% YoY and quarterly earnings per diluted share of $1.40 for the financial year Q2 2021 that ended March 27, 2020.
