When Apple introduced their latest iMacs powered by the Apple Silicon M1 chip, it was a little disappointing to not see FaceID integration for biometric authentication. Apple has finally started rolling out Spatial Audio with support for Dolby Atmos and Lossless Audio for Apple Music subscribers at no additional cost after it rolled out for users in several countries last month. This was announced back in May. Apple has also curated Bollywood Spacial audio Playlist. Apple’s next generation iPhone 13 series smartphones are a few months away from launch and fresh rumours about possible features have surfaced. The iPhone 13 series will reportedly feature larger induction coils that will enable better wireless charging and Apple will also be introducing portrait video as a built-in feature.
Apple and Intel will reportedly be the first major companies to build chips with TSMC’s 3nm process technology. The two companies are currently testing chip designs with this technology, and will likely mass-produce these chips for devices slated to launch in the second half of the next year.
According to sources in the industry, Apple is working on releasing two different OLED panels on their iPad model in 2023. The company will reportedly release a single OLED iPad Pro model in 2022 and then will later expand it to two models in 2023.

The iPhone 12 series continues to be one of Apple’s most successful smartphone launches till date, as the company has reportedly crossed 100 million in iPhone 12 series sales within 7 months of being launched.
Now and then, Apple releases new watch bands and watch faces in celebration of something. They recently launched the Pride Edition Braided bands and Pride watch faces to celebrate LGBTQ+ movement. Now, they have unveiled their International Collection of bands, which include 22 new bands designed after 22 countries.
Update: June 29 – Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo today in an investors’ note said that the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max models will feature an upgraded ultra-wide camera with autofocus for crisper and sharper images. He added that next year’s iPhone 14 series could feature autofocus ultra-wide cameras in all the models.
