The latest Android distribution numbers for November are in, and they show that Android 8.0 Oreo is now on 0.3% devices, while Nougat retains to close to 17.6% devices. Though features wise Google is doing a great job, it is the adoption that is moving slow.

Google rolls out November Android security update for Pixel and Nexus devices

Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel and Nexus devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. The latest update this month fixes several critical issues in Framework, Media framework, System and components and also fixes KRACK WP2 Wi-Fi protocol vulnerability. LG V30 Android 8.0 Oreo update rolling out through preview program in Korea

LG introduced the V30 smartphone at the IFA in August running Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) and it already promised to offer Oreo update for the phone. Now LG has started rolling out Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for the V30 users in South Korea through LG OS Preview program. It is available for all the carriers.
