Yandex, the leading Internet company in Russia has introduced Yandex.Phone, the company’s latest Android smartphone. It has a 5.65-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by Snapragon 630 with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Yandex Launcher, has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel secondary camera for portait shots, and a 5-megapixel camera on the front that also has an LED flash.
Update: We have managed to get the download link for the Mi A1 Android Pie beta update which is about 1.3GB in size. Since this is still in beta stage, there might be bugs. It is recommended to backup before updating. We have flashed it successfully with TWRP Recovery.

HMD Global just announced the Nokia 8.1, Android One smartphone, which is the global version of the Nokia X7 mid-range smartphone that was introduced in China back in October. The successor of the most popular Nokia 7 Plus has a 6.18-inch Full HD+ 18.7:9 aspect ratio Puredisplay, DCI-P3 wide color gamut and HDR10 video playback, 86.5% screen to body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform and runs Android 9.0 (Pie).
As promised recently, Realme has started rolling out ColorOS 5.2 stable OTA update in India. This brings several new features single swipe notification dismiss, Headset icon in status bar, Smart Bar for faster multitasking, Game Space, Recorder, and lots more.
Xiaomi announced the list of phones eligible for Oreo and Pie updates last month and said that devices are supposed to get Android Pie/Oreo update before the end of this year. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is amongst best-selling devices launched this year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat despite launching in February and later in June rolled out Android Oreo update. At the event, Xiaomi and Google promised Android version updates along with monthly security patch updates as the device was launched under the Android One program. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was amongst the best selling devices launched last year in India, despite launching in 2017 it was launched with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and was updated to Android 7.0 (Nougat) in August 2017. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 Pro in India back in September running MIUI 9, now it has started receving MIUI 10 Stable update. The update is also available for the Redmi 5 smartphone that was launched earlier this year running MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat). ASUS launched its flagship Zenfone 5Z (ZS620KL) smartphone in India back in July running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0. Today the company has confirmed that it will roll out the Android 9.0 (Pie) update for the smartphone by the end of January 2019. It also said that the update will be rolled out in a phased manner to avoid update server congestion.

OnePlus has rolled out new Open Beta 7 for the OnePlus 6 the brings several new features including new OnePlus Roaming feature that allows users to use internet without a SIM card, somewhat like virual SIM. However, this doesn’t work for calls. OnePlus says that this will work globally in most of the countries/regions, and it will list out the plans available for the country/regions you are in so that you can purchase a suitable plan and access the Internet without a SIM. This is similar to Mi Roaming feature that was introduced by Xiaomi few years back.
