Samsung Galaxy Express Hands On

Here at the Mobile World Congress, Samsung showcased its product portfolio that includes the Galaxy Express. One of its newest phones, it has a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus capactive screen which looks quite nice though slightly blurred out because of the low pixel density.

The size of the phone is on the larger side but it manages to fit in well in the hand. The smooth curves mean that it fits comfortably well in the hand though the cheap plastic used doesn’t look too good.  Continue reading “Samsung Galaxy Express Hands On”

Samsung Galaxy Fame Hands On

Walking through the Samsung booth at the Mobile World Congress we ran into the Samsung Fame. Part of the new budget range of Android handsets, the phone looks quite interesting.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Hands On

In a bid to hit each and every size possible out there, Samsung today announced the Galaxy Note 8.0 which fills one of the last remaining size based gaps in their line up. Predictably, the device is a blown up Galaxy Note with a 8 inch display.

We’ve been getting settled here in Barcelona and preparing to bring you minute by minute coverage from the greatest telecom expo in the world. With the Fira having moved from Fira Montjuic to Fira Gran Vie, we are now going to witness 240,000 square metres of space divided into 8 pavilions ALL booked by the GSMA.

The latest and greatest coverage from the show floor will be brought to you by Varun, Dhruv, Sandeep, Bharad and Michael from Team FoneArena. Our computers of choice ? Retina Macbook Pros and a Samsung Series 9 laptop. Top of the line Android phones and iPhone 5’s are part of the smartphone arsenal. Divided equally between the Canon and Nikon camp, we also have Nokia PureView 808’s to fall back on! Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy Note 8.0

Having repeatedly seen the images and the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 earlier, it was inevitable that the company was going to release the device soon. It was supposedly set for a MWC 2013 reveal, but looks like they have jumped the gun and revealed the Galaxy Note 8.0 in detailed photos, in the company’s facebook page.

Samsung REX 90 Unboxing


Samsung recently announced its latest line of Java based feature phones under the REX branding. We’ve got our hands on the top end model called the REX 90 and here’s a quick unboxing while we work on readying a review of the handset.
