HTC already planning Tizen devices according to Digitimes

You might have seen the Tizen Developer device  which is a Samsung phone running on the Tizen platform. Tizen is the joint venture between Intel and Samsung and the Operating System is expected to be ready this June with devices running on the Tizen OS expected to hit the market in the 2nd half of 2012. Now according to a report from Digitimes , HTC is already working on a Tizen device and might be released later this year. Samsung opens first ‘Mobile Brand Store’ in New Delhi

Samsung today set up its first ‘Mobile Brand Store’ in New Delhi , India.  Located in the popular Select City Mall , the store is spread over 1600 sq. ft. of retail space.

Samsung’s entire range of devices spread across  price points from Rs.7350 to Rs 38,250 can be found at the store. Samsung to unveil ‘the next Galaxy’ phone on May 3rd in London

Samsung has started sending out event invites for the next Galaxy phone event that is scheduled for May 3rd in London. Though the invite does not mention the name of the device, it might be the most expected Galaxy S3. Samsung already announced that it would launch the S3 at a separate event and this also coincides with the most recent rumor that suggested that the phone would launch at an event in London in May. Samsung fined by FTC for obstructing an investigation

Samsung was recently involved in a mobile phone price fixing case along with many other manufacturers like LG, etc. The Korean Fair Trade Commission (FTC) was investigating Samsung on this case and Samsung got fined 400 million for obstruction.

Samsung has also revealed its latest low end Android handset ie the Samsung Mini 2 . The handset comes with a 3.3″ HVGA screen alongside a 800Mhz processor. A 3.2 MP camera is located on the back  capable of recording in VGA.
