OnePlus just took to twitter to tweet a teaser photo which involves the OnePlus One. However it is quite vague and even with the hint – “This is a teaser for something we’ve been cooking up.”, it isn’t easy to decode.

OnePlus has rolled out a new OxygenOS 2.2.0 update to OnePlus 2 which brings a bunch of improvements and fixes. The company said that the over the air (OTA) update will be rolled out incrementally for the devices.

OnePlus 2 now available in India from Amazon without invites
Last week OnePlus announced that the OnePlus 2 smartphone will be available invite-free forever from December 5. Today the smartphone has gone invite-free in India and is available for purchase from Amazon.in. The OnePlus 2 went on sale in India back in August for Rs. 24,999. OnePlus has announced that starting December 5 anyone can buy OnePlus 2 without an invite. The Chinese smartphone maker said that it has scrapped the invite system for buying OnePlus 2 forever.

Early buyers of OnePlus 2 in India can now sign up for B2X insurance plans
OnePlus introduced two extended service plans for the OnePlus 2 smartphone in India last month, but the plans had a restriction that they need to be purchased within 30 days and 10 days, respectively after the purchase of the OnePlus 2. OnePlus X Review
The OnePlus X is probably the first time that OnePlus has really deviated from their design language. Yes, the OnePlus 2 was different from the OnePlus One in a few obvious ways but the basic shape, ergonomics etc remained quite similar. While it did feel like an improvement, people could still probably tell that it was a OnePlus device especially when they touched the sandstone back. The OnePlus X on the other hand feels totally new. The design of the OnePlus X has both glass at the front as well as the back on the Onyx version and a Ceramic back on the Ceramic version.
