Lenovo has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the K3 Note smartphone in India. The update also adds TheaterMax support for an immersive VR experience. This feature is present in Vibe K4 Note, Vibe X3 and the latest K5 Plus smartphones. The smartphone was launched running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) in India, so it is directly getting the Android 6.0 update, skipping Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Lenovo K3 Note sales cross 1 million in four months on Flipkart in India

Lenovo today announced that it has sold one million units of K3 Note smartphone in India on Flipkart in less than four months after its launch on July 8th. The company recently launched the K3 Note Music edition with Ceramic speakers for Rs. 12499 that is now available across 1400 Lenovo exclusive stores and smartphone retail stores across India. Lenovo recently introduced its latest phablet in India, the K3 Note. The device went on sale for the first time yesterday and was sold out in about 6 seconds, according to the company.

47,440 Lenovo K3 Note smartphones sold out in 5.2 seconds in first sale

Lenovo sold 47,440 units of K3 Note smartphones in just 5.2 seconds in the first flash sale today on Flipkart at 3PM. It received over 538,096 lakh registrations for the sale, said the company. Even though the company sells only the Onyx Black variant of the smartphone now, it plans to bring Pearl White and Laser Yellow color variants soon. Lenovo has finally launched the K3 Note smartphone in India, as expected. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 72% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has dual SIM support and 4G connectivity, including support for LTE bands in India. It also features Dolby Atmos.
