Samsung Galaxy Nexus Unboxing Video

The Galaxy Nexus is world’s first phone to run on Android 4.0 which is also known as Ice Cream Sandwich. Google and Samsung unveiled the device in Hong Kong last month and the device went on sale in few markets earlier this month. The handset is priced at around 429 pounds in the UK.The box is unusually long and has the picture of the device  on the front and sides.A very simplistic design with subtle marketing material. No mention even of the specs on the outside.The unit we got was a Titanium Silver color. The device boasts of a 4.65 inch SuperAMOLED display with a 720p resolution.It is powered by a 1.2 GHz CPU and packs 16GB of inbuilt storage without an expansion slot. There is a 5MP camera on the back and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. What we have here is an absolute monster in terms of specs. The phone is powered by a 1.2Ghz dual core processor , 1GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 sales cross 30 million

The combined sales of Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 has crossed 30 million globally. The Samsung Galaxy S2 sales crossed 10 million this September which is quicker than any device in Samsung’s history, since its launch 5 month ago. The phone was launched in Korea this April and later launched in other Asian and European countries Worldwide. 1 million units of Galaxy S2 were sold in Korea in the first 30 days. Samsung announcing something big on September 1st

Teaser videos have appeared on the internet which suggest that Samsung is about to announce something big on 1st September. The videos don’t reveal much other than glowing gadgets in the hands of users.

If rumors are to be believed we could be seeing a 7″ version of the Honeycomb based Galaxy Tab. Samsung had announced the original Galaxy Tab around the same time last year so it is definitely a possibility. Seeing that some of the users in the video are holding devices to their head , a brand new smartphone is also a possibility.

Samsung Galaxy S II 32GB Variant Spotted

So far the Samsung Galaxy S II has been enjoying incredible sales and with the white version coming soon, the numbers are only set to increase. But even the white one is expected to come in 16GB version. The 32GB version that was promised during the announcement is still unavailable.
