Apple has released iPadOS 16.1 as it had promised. This brings the most expected Stage Manager for an entirely new multitasking experience, new Weather app redesigned for the iPad and lots more features. In an update later this year, Stage Manager will get full external display support with resolutions of up to 6K for the M1 and M2 iPad models.

Apple releases iPadOS 16.1 developer beta 1, confirms delay

With today’s release of the seventh beta of iOS 16, Apple also made the first beta of the forthcoming iPadOS 16.1 update accessible to developers for testing. Developers who have signed up with Apple can download the iPadOS 16 profile from the Apple Developer Center. MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips expected between Fall 2022 and Spring 2023

It is still anticipated that Apple will release a few M2 Macs between 2022 and 2023 after launching the M2 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.
