The 5230 and 5530 were launched today at New Delhi, India. It’s interesting to note that 5230 was launched today in India for the first time. The device has not been spotted anywhere else in the world. Looks like Nokia is trying hard to retain its title of being the most trusted brand in India
Microsoft Launches OneApp Platform for entry level phones

While only the premier mobile phones like the iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Nokia S60 phones enjoy a lot of attention in the mobile application domain, most of the mobile subscribers around the world use only an entry level phone or any basic feature phone.
Keeping that in mind and to cater to the entry level mobile phone users, Microsoft has just introduced the “OneApp platform” with its primary goal, being able to allow developers to develop mobile apps for handsets which have a very limited processing power and low internal memory. Nokia N900 Rover Official Press Pic Leaked
The N900 codenamed Rover aka RX-51 seems to be getting a lot of attention due to the platform on which the phone is built – Maemo Linux. We have seen tons of pics of the N900 and package. Now a site named BeGeek has got it hands on the first official press pic of the phone which is most likely to be announced at Nokia World 2009

Nokia 5800 vs 5530 XpressMusic

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, the first touchscreen phone powered by Symbian Series 60 5th Edition was introduced in October 2008 and hit the markets during November 2008. Since it’s release, Nokia has had great success with the phone selling millions of units worldwide.
Initially the 5800 was available in Blue and Red variants which were, in time followed by a Black/Silver variant. A 5800 Navigation Edition was announced recently to celebrate the success of the 5800.

We just heard from Nokia that they are launching the eagerly awaited 5530 XpressMusic phone [specs] in India later today. Further details including the price and exact availability should be out soon. We spotted this phone along with the 5730 and E72 on Nokia India’s Website couple of weeks ago. So its not just showing coming soon on the webpage but the phone must be really coming soon to a Nokia Store near you .
