Samsung 60W fast charger with PD, PPS charging announced


Samsung has silently introduced 60W fast charger, years after the launch of its 45W fast charger that is still the maximum charging speed supported by its phones and tablets.

Samsung mentions that the charger Galaxy smartphone, Galaxy Book, and many other compatible devices, and adds that it has low power consumption in standby mode (under 5 mW) and also uses Smart IC technology that reduces unnecessary energy consumption.

It offers protection against overcurrent, overheating, and short circuits, and comes with Super Fast Charging 2.0 support.

Pricing and availability

The Samsung 60W fast charger comes in black colour and is priced at 52.90 Euros (USD 61.92 / Rs. 5,570 approx.), which is 10 Euros more compared to 45W fast charger. It is currently on sale in several countries in Europe.

Based on rumours, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will finally get 60W fast charging support, and the launch is expected in February 2026.
