Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet with 12.2-inch 2560×1600 display rumored for Q3 2013

Samsung is prepping for a Galaxy Note tablet with a 12.2-inch (2560×1600 pixels) display, according to a recent report from Korean website ET News. It adds that Samsung Display and Sharp will supply about 2.5 million 12.2-inch panels equipped with IGZO (Indum-Gallium Zinc Oxide) technology to Samsung Electronics for the device. The tablet is also expected to come with the S Pen stylus that usually come with the Galaxy Note 10.1.  We don’t have the complete specifications of the tablet yet. Lemon Mobiles has launched the A4, the company’s latest Android smartphone with a 1080p display. The phone comes under the Aspirational series. It appeared on the official website earlier this month as Aspire Full HD. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13.1-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby.

Huawei Ascend Mate gets priced in India at Rs. 28900

We already reported that the Huawei Ascend Mate would launch in India priced under Rs. 30,000. The phone has now been priced in India at Rs. 28,900 on online retail website Flipkart. The Ascend Mate has a 6.1-inch 720p display, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)  with Huawei’s EmotionUI 1.5 on top. It is 9.9 mm thick and weighs 198 grams. HTC to announce Butterfly S in Taiwan on June 19th

HTC has started sending out invites for the Butterfly S launch event in Taiwan in partnership with Taiwanese carrier Chunghwa Telecom on June 19th, according to a recent report from Engadget. The company would also unveil the Desire 600 with BoomSound that was announced for the international markets last month. The HTC Butterfly was originally announced in Japan as J Butterfly back in October last year. It was announced for the global markets in December. Apple has finally announced the iOS7, the most expected iOS update at the WWDC 2013. It is the successor of the iOS 6 that was released last year. Apple announces iTunes Radio with customized music streams, to be available later this year

At the World Web Developers Conference, Apple just announced the long rumored iTunes Radio service. To be a  part of the music player application, it will provide users access to about 200 curated stations. The service will also allow users to create custom radio stations based on music in their iTunes library. The service will learn based on your usage and will offer increasingly personalized music playlists. In addition, iTunes Radio will also let users listen to tracks from popular artists ahead of launch and will integrate with Siri. Nokia Lumia 520 doubles worldwide market share according to AdDuplex

AdDuplex chief Alan Medelevich today tweeted that the Nokia Lumia 520 has doubled its worldwide marked share over the course of a month. While the handset had a 4.44% share of the Windows Phone installed base, it means that the handset is about to touch almost 9% share. This would indicate sales to the tune of a million units. Medelevich also suggested that WP8 has finally overtaken the number of Windows Phone 7 devices out there.

Lenovo plans to launch sub-Rs.5000 smartphones in India

Lenovo has plans to launch devices priced below Rs 5,000 to India, according to a recent report from The Hindu Business Line. The report also says that Lenovo aims to sell 1 million smartphones in India this year. Lenovo entered into the smartphone market in India last year with launch of 5 Android smartphones priced between Rs. 6499 and Rs. 28499. The company launched range of smartphones, A390, A706, S820, P780, S920 and K900 last week priced between Rs. 8689 and Rs. 32999. The reason behind this new move is their shrinking PC business.
