
Sony was expected to launch the Xperia Z3 in India last week, but it didn’t happen. Today the company has sent out invites for a launch event in India on September 25th. It is expected to launch both the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact at the event later this week. The Sony Xperia Z3 is powered by a slightly faster Snapdragon 801 SoC, has a more rounded sides and runs on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, compared to the Xperia Z2. It’s only been 20 days since the official unveiling of the Meizu MX4, but the smartphone from the Far East is getting more footage than the makers would’ve imagined. Not long back, Meizu said that they were successful in getting a massive 7.7 million pre-orders; given that the company is only starting to step out of its home country of China, these are big numbers.
Elephone has turned out to be a Chinese OEM worth looking out for. The company dished out a handful original design phones, before taking the clone route.
