Gmail 5.0 for Android to support Yahoo, Outlook and other email accounts

Google is planning to release Gmail v5.0 for Android with support for all other email accounts like Yahoo and Outlook, a leaked promo video reveals. You can switch between either accounts by a simple swipe or by touching the account drop down, reveals the video. The app has material design, which is obvious since the upcoming Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update with Material Design UI is around the corner.  This has rounded avatars, refreshed iconography and more. Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a to receive Android KitKat based ColorOS v2.0 update

Oppo is releasing an Android KitKat based ColorOS v2.0 update to Find 7 and Find 7a. This will not be an OTA update, and users will have to download the update package and move it to the root directory of the phone, then update while in recovery mode.

BBM gets ephemeral messaging with new Timed Messages feature

BlackBerry has introduced new Timed Messages feature in BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) that lets you set a  timer to control how long messages and pictures you share with contacts can be viewed. There have been several ephemeral messaging apps after Snapchat. Recently LINE messenger got a similar feature called Hidden Chat. Microsoft even released an app for ephemeral messaging called WindUp for Windows Phone.

Google Nexus 9 India Prices Revealed on Play Store, coming soon

In case you are looking forward to buying the latest Nexus tablet from Google in India, we have some good news to share. We just spotted the Google Nexus 9 as coming soon on the India Play Store and the price for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version is listed as Rs.28900 which is a good deal considering the US pricing is $399 but taxes and shipping will bring the price to roughly about Rs.27000 and duties could end up making it even costlier.  It seems like the 32GB Wi-Fi only version will not be coming to India. The Google Nexus 9 is made my HTC and packs a 8.9 inch display and is powered by a Nvidia Tegra K1 chip and runs on the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop.

It was unveiled earlier this month in New York and packs a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new HTC Sense UI. HTC has launched Desire 516c, a mid-range Android smartphone in India. This is the Dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) variant of the Desire 516 dual sim that was launched in the country back in June. It supports EDGE on one SIM and 3G EVDO Rev.A on the other. It has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android with Sense UI on top. HTC One M8 EYE that went official in China recently, has been launched in India. Most specifications of the smartphone are similar to the HTC One M8, but this has a 13-megapixel rear camera instead of the Ultrapixel camera, similar to the Butterfly 2. It has the same 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One M8. It has a 5.0-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.
