Xiaomi has officially introduced its latest foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, at its autumn flagship product launch event.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold introduces a “mid-fold” design featuring a 5.38-inch external display and a 7.58-inch internal display. Both panels utilize an aspect ratio close to √2:1, matching standard paper proportions.
The screens support dynamic LTPO refresh rates from 1 to 120Hz and reach a peak brightness of 4,000 nits (APL 30%). The external display is configured for wider horizontal line display, providing an on-screen keyboard that is 8% wider than standard 6.9-inch bar phones.
The chassis features large-radius elliptical corners, a flat wraparound frame, and a racetrack-shaped camera DECO. Dimensions and physical characteristics include:

According to the company, the device underwent 492 structural optimizations based on full-angle environmental and simulation testing.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold debuts the Xiaomi O3 AI flagship System-on-Chip (SoC), which benchmarks above 5 million points. Core performance specifications include:
- CPU: 60% increase in multi-core performance, with a 25% power reduction under medium and low loads.
- GPU: 85% boost in graphical performance, paired with a 64% reduction in power consumption.
- NPU: Delivers 200 TOPS of Tensor computing power and 3.13 TFLOPS of Vector computing power.
- Memory: First to commercially deploy domestic LPDDR6 memory, developed in collaboration with Changxin Memory.
Software enhancements include a revamped multitasking environment capable of running up to six split screens simultaneously, integrated with the “Super Xiao Ai Inspiration Ball” for voice-activated workflows.
Battery and Camera Configuration
Battery endurance is driven by a 6,000mAh dual-layer Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery featuring 20% silicon content and an energy density of 920 Wh/L. Charging capabilities include 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The imaging setup is co-engineered with Leica, delivering a full-focal-length triple camera system:

Special Ceramic Edition
