Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a to receive Android KitKat based ColorOS v2.0 update


Oppo is releasing an Android KitKat based ColorOS v2.0 update to Find 7 and Find 7a. This will not be an OTA update, and users will have to download the update package and move it to the root directory of the phone, then update while in recovery mode.

The ColorOS v2.0 brings a range of visual enhancement and revamped UI. Live Weather 2.0 is added to the update which brings new “Haze” effect and a redesigned task Manager. Other updates include new gesture panel which can now be activated by sliding up from the bottom of the screen. Super Power Saving mode and the ability to access Google from anywhere features are also added.

Editing screenshots has been made easy. The phones will even get a smart memory cleaner, a Gaussian blur effect in different areas of the UI and a new set of animations to make the experience smoother and more natural. The update is now available for download and only Find 7 and Find 7a users can download it.
